Tech Guy Consulting was formed in 2005 in a single home-office to help meet the computer repair needs of founder and CEO Josh Ditto’s friends, family, and community. From early on, Josh’s dedication to offering honest services and quality work helped build a reputation that would continue to grow the business for years to come. Josh graduated in 2008 from SIU Carbondale with a BS in Information Systems Technology. He has always maintained a strong heart for Southern Illinois and Union County, and knew this was the only place to further his business and contribute to the community.
In the late summer and early fall of 2012, the opportunity arose to open the first TGC brick and mortar location in the iconic old Bunny Bread building in Anna’s east-side business district. The new, 3000 square foot office created needed space for expansion, better accessibility for our walk-in customers, and more room to house equipment allowing for better and faster response for our business clients.
Since opening the new facility, we’ve expanded to six full time employees with specialties allowing us to offer a wide range of business support. Our experienced and knowledgeable technicians can assist with IT issues such as full network management (including new installations & planning or maintaining/upgrading existing systems), network security, server implementation and management, security & surveillance camera systems, electronic locks & entry systems, sophisticated PBX phone systems, and of course, computer repair, installation, security, and maintenance.
In addition to our IT services, we’re also able to offer various creative services. We have multiple team members well versed in web design & development, logo & graphic design, search engine optimization (SEO), copy writing, and more.
